After flying high against Mendez last Wednesday, Hollywood came back down to earth. The Hollywood Sheiks took a 79-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sherman Oaks CES Knights on Friday. The Sheiks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hollywood now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Sherman Oaks CES, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Hollywood and Robert F. Kennedy Community will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 4:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Robert F. Kennedy Community will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hollywood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sherman Oaks CES, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bishop Diego at 1:00 p.m. on December 26th.
