Ocosta's Nate Krigbaum rumbled for the longest rushing play in 2B Pacific this season in his game against South Bend last week. Krigbaum scampered for 99 yards on the play and finished with 213 on the day as his team beat the Indians.
Kurt Bambauer and Krigbaum provided fans with a highlight when they connected against South Bend. The connection went for 55 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Ocosta's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Bambauer threw for 96 and one touchdown and Krigbaum had 79 yards receiving. Alex Herrera helped Ocosta's passing attack out by catching one ball for 17 yards.
Alec Oatfield made the biggest impact on defense this week as Raymond topped North Beach. The 5-foot-10 senior grabbed two interceptions.
Willapa Valley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matt Konigsberger has thrown for 205 yards this season, while Drew Pearson has eight catches for 124 yards. David Rockett leads the league in rushing with 432 yards.
A big matchup in 2B Pacific this week will be when Willapa Valley takes on the Hyaks. The Vikings are currently in first, while North Beach is in fifth.
Willapa Valley extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Pe Ell, 28-12. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
