Xzavior Guess' Big Game Can't Quite Lead El Modena over Tustin
El Modena had to settle for second on Thursday, but Xzavior Guess sure wasn't going down easily. Guess was unstoppable, rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while also throwing for 188 yards and two touchdowns. His longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
With the defeat, El Modena broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-1. Guess and El Modena are taking a road trip to challenge Capistrano Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tristan Zale Goes Supernova in Trabuco Hills Defeat
While Trabuco Hills might've come up empty on Friday, Tristan Zale wasn't going down without a fight. Nobody could stop Zale as he threw for 351 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Zale and Trabuco Hills have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Cypress at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will pit Zale up against the Centurions' star quarterback Xavier Guerrero. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game.
