After flying high against the Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen last Tuesday, the Traverse City HomeSchool Bulldogs came back down to earth. The matchup between Traverse City HomeSchool and Grand Traverse Academy wasn't particularly close, with Traverse City HomeSchool falling 41-26. Traverse City HomeSchool has not had much luck with Grand Traverse Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Grand Traverse Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Megan Pavwoski, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Alleah Dix, who scored four points along with eight assists and seven steals.
Traverse City HomeSchool now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Grand Traverse Academy, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Traverse City HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Suttons Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grand Traverse Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Catholic Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
