After losing to the Lago Vista Vikings the last time they met, the Troy Trojans decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Troy came out on top against Lago Vista by a score of 50-40 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Troy.
Lago Vista lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Saylor Stamos, who scored nine points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Lockhart, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Troy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lago Vista, they bumped their record down to 5-10 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Troy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Rogers at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Lago Vista, they will take on Faith Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Faith Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Saturday.
