Malden waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Gideon Bulldogs 16-10. The result was nothing new for the Green Wave, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.
Alyssa Broom made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
