Softball Recap: First State Military Academy Takes a Loss

First State Military Academy was the 17-2 winner over St. Elizabeth when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 8-7 on Wednesday.

First State Military Academy's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for St. Elizabeth, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

First State Military Academy has already played their next match (against Delaware Military Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. Elizabeth, they will head out on the road to challenge Odyssey Charter at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Owls have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.44 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
