The Griswold Wolverines came into Friday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 50-43 victory over Parish Hill on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Griswold also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2022.
Parish Hill's loss came despite strong showings from Kaelyn Pearl and Ashlyn Kemp. Pearl almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds, while Kemp scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pearl has scored all season.
Griswold's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Parish Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
Griswold will be playing in front of their home fans against the Redmen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parish Hill, they will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering]'s defense has only allowed 25.8 points per game this season, so the Pirates' offense will have their work cut out for them.
