Volleyball Recap: Olpe Extends Winning Streak to Seven

With a playoff win on the line, Olpe rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Crest Lancers by a score of 2-0. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on seven straight.

While Olpe might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Crest scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20.

Lilly Skalsky paced Olpe's offense, picking up eight kills. Skalsky got some help from Kayla Steinke and her 16 assists. Steinke was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Olpe's victory bumped their record up to 28-12. As for Crest, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 16-17 record.

Olpe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Little River on the 25th. Crest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
