The Overton Mustangs won the last time they faced the Mt. Enterprise Wildcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Overton walked away with a 37-27 win over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back wins for Overton.
Leading Overton to victory were Jamiya O'neal and Catherine Delane. O'neal scored 13 points along with five steals, while Delane scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. O'neal has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ashby Croswell, who scored two points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Overton now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Mt. Enterprise, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
Overton will head out on the road to take on the Bearkats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Cushing will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Mt. Enterprise does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
