The Hialeah Thoroughbreds scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Mourning 74-48. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Hialeah as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Despite the loss, Mourning still got an impressive performance from Kristopher Jean-Jacques, who scored 16 points. Jean-Jacques is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Ayden Chapa, who scored 11 points.
Hialeah's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Mourning, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
Hialeah will head out on the road to square off against Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwestern will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Mourning will take on Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
