Shannon Patrick was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 15 rebounds for Acton-Boxborough. The match was Patrick's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Olivia Baytarian, who scored nine points.
Waltham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Acton-Boxborough, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Waltham will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Weston at 6:00 p.m. on January 5th. Acton-Boxborough will finish 2023 at home by hosting Burlington at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
