The Hamilton County Foxes lost against the Fairfield Mules last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Hamilton County took a 37-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fairfield. Hamilton County has struggled against Fairfield recently, as their contest on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Hamilton County saw an underclassman step up: Rayci Phelps scored 15 points along with six rebounds. That was a full 55.6% of Hamilton County's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Harmon, who scored a point along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Hamilton County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Fairfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-17 record this season.
Hamilton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fairfield also has no future games currently scheduled.
