Newton South made easy work of Brookline last Saturday and carried off a 27-0 victory.
Meanwhile, Waltham lost to Westford Academy by a decisive 6-21 margin. This makes it the second loss in a row for Waltham.
Newton South's win lifted them to 1-1 while Waltham's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Newton South can add another positive mark to their record or if Waltham can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Newton South's step.
