Dansville hasn't had much luck against Hornell recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Mustangs will look to defend their home field against the Red Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Dansville's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Hornell's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Dansville will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Warsaw on Saturday. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 12-2 victory. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Brady Henchen made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Henchen was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI.

Meanwhile, Hornell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Haverling, falling 10-3. That's two games in a row now that the Red Raiders have lost by exactly seven runs.
Hornell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braydon Fouser, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.
