Baseball Recap: Knappa Extends Winning Streak to Four

Knappa had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Gaston Greyhounds by a score of 7-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 13-3 win back in April.

Knappa's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Gaston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Knappa nor Gaston have any future games scheduled.
