While Lucy Beckham put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Goose Creek. The Bengals put the hurt on the Gators with a sharp 14-0 victory. The Bengals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

Nolan Alexander looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (two).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ryan Roggin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Keagan Conroy, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Lucy Beckham hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Goose Creek struck out ten times.

The win got Lucy Beckham back to even at 8-8. As for Goose Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lucy Beckham will be taking part in a tournament against Hickory at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Goose Creek, they will take on Greenbrier Christian Academy in a tournament on Monday. Greenbrier Christian Academy will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Goose Creek surely won't give up without a fight.
