Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Old Forge). Their defense stepped up to hand the Elk Lake Warriors a 10-0 shutout on Wednesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Old Forge with their most commanding win of the season.

Old Forge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those four contests. As for Elk Lake, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Old Forge will challenge Scranton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Elk Lake, they will face off against Forest City at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Elk Lake will be up against Forest City's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.8 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
