Jefferson kept a clean sheet against Lincoln on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Lynx 1-0. Give Jefferson's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Taelin Minor, who's now up to five this season.

Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven contests. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will venture away from home to face off against Sioux City East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln, they will head out to take on Lewis Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
