Meanwhile, Bishop Rosecrans had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a serious blow against Maysville, falling 72-38. Bishop Rosecrans found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and post nine fewer assists than your opponent.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Tyler Burnett, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Grady Labishak, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds.
Berne Union's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Bishop Rosecrans, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-1.
