The McArthur Mustangs won against the Boyd Anderson Cobras on Tuesday with 57 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. McArthur breezed by Boyd Anderson at home to the tune of 57-17. McArthur's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
McArthur was led to victory by Jahnya Lewis and Christie Chicoye. Lewis dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Chicoye dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds. The matchup was Lewis' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Amor Johnson, who scored 3 points along with 11 assists and 4 steals.
McArthur's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Boyd Anderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
McArthur won't have much time to rest: their next game is against West Broward at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. West Broward will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while McArthur is ranked 96th). As for Boyd Anderson, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Cardinal Gibbons at 6:00 p.m.
