Basketball Recap: Rayder Mann Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat City View

Bowie hadn't done well against City View recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bowie Jackrabbits enjoyed a cozy 60-46 victory over the City View Mustangs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jackrabbits.

Bowie got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rayder Mann out in front who went 11 for 18 on his way to 27 points. Mann's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Gaige Goodman was another key player, going 6 of 7 en route to 14 points along with five boards and three blocks.

Bowie has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for City View, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-10.

When Bowie and City View next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Bowie will try to stop Holliday's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, City View will face off against Iowa Park and their five-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
