The third road contest was the charm for the California City Ravens, as they earned their first road win of the season. They strolled past Boron with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 54-36. That looming 54-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for California City yet this season.
Ty'Ron Jones was the offensive standout of the contest as he dropped a double-double on ten points and 25 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of DeShawn 'Pocket Magic' Elizalde , who scored seven points along with four steals.
California City now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Boron, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
California City will head out on the road to face off against Rosamond at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rosamond is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. Boron won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kern Valley at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. Hopefully Kern Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Tuesday.
