Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Germantown). They breezed by the Wauwatosa West Trojans to the tune of  89-21 on Tuesday. The Warhawks' offense checked out after the first half but had enough  points banked to take the game anyway.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Germantown to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Danica Gosz, who  went 5 of 11  on her way to 13  points along with six  rebounds and four  steals. Gosz has been hot, having  posted two or more  steals the last five times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madeline Jakusz, who  went 5 for 8  en route to 12 points and five  boards.
The  win made it two in a row for Germantown and  bumps their season record up to 10-8. As for Wauwatosa West,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-14.
 Germantown and Wauwatosa West could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage  in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Germantown will  challenge  Wauwatosa East  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday down  82 places (86 vs. 4). Similarly,  Wauwatosa West (ranked 334th) will meet Menomonee Falls (ranked 115th)  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
