Grand Island Central Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carolyn Maser, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Maser has scored at least 25% of Grand Island Central Catholic's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryndal Moody, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
Grand Island Central Catholic pushed their record up to 7-1 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Seward, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
