In what's become a running theme this season, the West Caldwell Warriors gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat West Lincoln 81-44 at home. While fans of West Caldwell might be used to big wins, the 37-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
West Caldwell was led to victory by Nylan Battle and Jordan Patterson. Battle dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Patterson dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaydin Dixon, who scored 16 points.
West Caldwell is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for West Lincoln, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
West Caldwell will be playing at home against Lincolnton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincolnton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 21 games -- so hopefully West Caldwell likes a good challenge. As for West Lincoln, they will head out on the road to face off against Newton-Conover at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Newton-Conover's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while West Lincoln has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
