Plattsburg is 9-1 against the Hornets since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Plattsburg Tigers will be playing at home against the Penney Hornets at 6:00 p.m. Plattsburg will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Plattsburg stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They breezed by North Platte at home to the tune of 81-50.
It was another big night for Michael "isaia" Howard, who almost dropped a triple-double on 43 points, 12 rebounds, and nine steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Plattsburg's points. Another player making a difference was Rylan Langton, who scored ten points along with six assists and four steals.
Meanwhile, Penney came up short against the Spartans on Wednesday and fell 48-41. Penney has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Plattsburg is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Penney, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9.
Plattsburg strolled past the Hornets in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 65-48. Does Plattsburg have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
