The Lynn English Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Everett Crimson Tide at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Lynn English's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Lynn English stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 76-54 margin over Somerville. Given Lynn English's advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Somerville is ranked 230th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Among those leading the charge was Louis Ledesma, who scored 25 points along with five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Pierre Veras, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Everett waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 58-51 win over Lynn Classical.
Lynn English has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Everett, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
Lynn English came up short against Everett in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 65-61. Can Lynn English avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
