Jonesboro barely beat North Little Rock the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hurricane put the hurt on the Charging Wildcats with a sharp 7-1 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Hurricane, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Jonesboro is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for North Little Rock, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Jonesboro and North Little Rock will both be playing Conway the next time they take the field. The Charging Wildcats will head out to face the Wampus Cats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hurricane will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
