Given Fayette Ware's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while White Station is ranked 128th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Eric Jones was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds. Tacarien Freeman was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven assists.
Fayette Ware's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.2 points. As for White Station, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Fayette Ware will be home for the holidays to greet Crockett County at 3:30 p.m. on December 22nd. White Station will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ridgeway at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
