J'vien Adams Turns in Season-Best Performance
J'Vien Adams produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Iowa to the win on Friday. Adams rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
Iowa's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Adams and Iowa have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Washington-Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
