While Pittsfield put up some  runs on Wednesday, the same  can't be said for Griggsville-Perry. The Saukees were the clear victors by  a  10-0 margin over the Tornadoes. The result was nothing new for the Saukees, who have now won nine matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
The result came thanks to  Emma Wombles's shutout, as she gave up just three  hits and racked up 15 Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Kinlee Griggs was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March.  Kenley Gerard was another key player,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases and three  runs.
Pittsfield's victory bumped their record up to 13-5-1. As for Griggsville-Perry, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the  defeat, which was their seventh straight  at home.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pittsfield will face off against Rushville-Industry at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Griggsville-Perry, they will take on Liberty at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
