The Uintah Utes will head out on the road to challenge the Provo Bulldogs at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Uintah will be strutting in after a victory while the Bulldogs will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Uintah beat the Tigers 41-36.
Uintah relied on the efforts of Zoey Glenn, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds, and Mackenzie White, who scored 16 points along with three steals. White is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Emily Bake was another key contributor, scoring two points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Provo came up short against the Lions on Tuesday and fell 59-50. Provo has not had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Uintah's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14. As for Provo, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.
Uintah couldn't quite finish off the Bulldogs when the teams last played back in January and fell 42-40. Can Uintah avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
