Last Friday, Foothill strolled past Red Bluff with points to spare, taking the game 60-41. Given Foothill's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while Red Bluff is ranked 789th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Tyler Zanhiser, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Van Warren, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Foothill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Red Bluff, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.
