After failing to score in their last matchup, Banning made sure to put some goals up on the board against Port of Los Angeles on Monday. They put the hurt on the Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears with a sharp 6-0 victory. Considering the Pilots have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Port of Los Angeles from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Melanie Ayala led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The win (which was Banning's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for Port of Los Angeles, they now have a losing record at 5-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Banning will welcome San Pedro at 4:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Port of Los Angeles, they will take on Fremont at 2:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Port of Los Angeles' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
