East Poinsett County were successful in their last outing against Midland, and they didn't afford Midland any payback this time around. East Poinsett County put a hurting on Midland to the tune of 46-6.
Senior Andrew Harston, who snatched 3 receiving TDs and picked up 55 yards on the ground, was a major factor in East Poinsett County's success. Sophomore Preston Rains was in the mix, too, providing East Poinsett County with 3 touchdowns.
The win bumped East Poinsett County's record up to 4-1. Midland are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week East Poinsett County take on Marked Tree at 7:00 PM. The team will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. Midland will be staying on the road, facing off against Salem.
