Chandler Prep had won two straight home games and Kody Dodson did his part to make it three on Friday. The Titans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lincoln Prep Lightning 64-0 with plenty of help from Dodson, who threw for 178 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. His passing game has become a key predictor of Chandler Prep's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.
Chandler Prep's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. In that department, Jack Leonhard was the leader with four sacks. Chandler Prep received some extra help from Jackson Erwin, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Chandler Prep, adding 14 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Dodson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
