Christ Chapel Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zaria Gaskins led the charge by scoring 25 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Gaskins has scored at least a third of Christ Chapel Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Brantley, who scored 21 points along with five steals.
Immanuel Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Christ Chapel Academy, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4.
