Clare had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles with a sharp 10-3 win. Considering the Pioneers have won 17 matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Clare's victory bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-8 record.

Clare has already played their next game, a 15-1 win against Marquette on the 10th. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Redwolves have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
