Conrad had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Shepherd Mustangs as they made off with a 26-6 victory. The Cowboys not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 13, 2024 (when they won 48-13).

Despite the loss, Shepherd had strong showings from Tagg Murdock, who picked up 105 receiving yards and one TD, and Caleb Nicholson, who threw for 159 yards and one touchdown. Murdock's longest reception was for an incredible 70 yards.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conrad will take on Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shepherd, they will square off against Malta/Whitewater/Saco/Dodson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
