Capital Prep Harbor had a senior duo take command as Jacob Henderson almost dropped a triple-double on 23 points, nine assists, and nine steals and Edward Williams scored 27 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least 25% of Capital Prep Harbor's points. Joshua Daniels was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven steals.
Capital Prep Harbor's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for East Harlem, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Capital Prep Harbor won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Roosevelt at 11:00 a.m. on December 27, 2023. Roosevelt will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 276th in New York, while Capital Prep Harbor is ranked sixth in Connecticut). As for East Harlem, they will be playing at home against Richman at 5:00 p.m. on January 3rd. Richman is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
