Ashanti Pagan posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out nine batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
