The Argyle Scots can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 77-51 margin over Salem. With Argyle ahead 44-11 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Loss or not, Salem got some senior leadership from Ethan Hickland and Josh Harrington. Hickland dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Harrington. dropped a double-double on 21 points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hickland has scored all season.
Even though they lost, Salem smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Argyle has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Salem, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Argyle will take on Berlin/New Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Salem, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Cambridge at 7:00 p.m. Cambridge is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
