Volleyball Recap: Montgomery Has No Trouble Against Morse

Montgomery not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 25th. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Morse Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Aztecs.

The victory didn't come easy: Morse scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 26-24.

When it comes to explaining why Morse lost, don't look at Jhiovanni Lacosta. Despite the final result, he had 28 assists and four aces. Those 28 assists gave Lacosta a new career-high.

Montgomery's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Morse, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Montgomery will challenge Lincoln at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Morse has already played their next contest (against Victory Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
