The Mansfield Summit Jaguars waltzed into their game on Tuesday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They came out on top against Mansfield Timberview by a score of 48-38. That's another feather in the cap for Mansfield Summit, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Z'kharyah Scott and Jaden Marshall certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Scott scored seven points along with seven rebounds and three blocks, while Marshall scored five points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Mansfield Summit is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Mansfield Timberview, their loss dropped their record down to 23-8.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Seguin the next time they take the court. Mansfield Summit will head out to face the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wolves will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
