Softball Recap: Concord Extends Winning Streak to Three

Concord entered their tilt with Elkhart Christian Academy on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 11-1 win. The Minutemen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Concord got a great performance from Allison Ralston as she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

At the plate, Cassi Reames was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Laela Moore was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Concord's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Concord will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair will be back at it again later today.
