The Northeast Raiders were the 58-46 winner over the Jordan Red Jackets when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Northeast was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 51-50 to Jordan. Northeast has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Northeast lost, one person who can't be blamed is Amani Brown. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tavaris Tinsley Jr, who scored six points.
Northeast has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season. As for Jordan, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13.
Northeast will take on Westside at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Westside focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday. As for Jordan, they will head out on the road to challenge Rutland at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Rutland's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Jordan has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road.
