Bloomfield has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the New Britain Golden Hurricanes at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Weaver scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, Bloomfield still came out on top. Bloomfield walked away with a 66-59 victory over the Beavers.
Meanwhile, New Britain came tearing into Wednesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Tolland by a score of 51-38.
The win got Bloomfield back to even at 6-6. As for New Britain, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
Bloomfield beat the Golden Hurricanes 87-75 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Will Bloomfield repeat their success, or do the Golden Hurricanes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
