Tallulah Falls was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Elbert County apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played.
Elbert County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aj Brown out in front who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three blocks. That's the first time this season that Brown posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Hill, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Tallulah Falls dropped their record down to 5-17 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Elbert County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-16.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tallulah Falls will take on Commerce at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Commerce is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Elbert County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Athens Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Athens Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five contests.
