Chapel Hill (N.C.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring six in the fourth quarter to seal a 25-0 victory over
Webb (Oxford, N.C.).
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Darius Allen in the first quarter, the Tigers led 13-0 at the half.
Chapel Hill expanded its lead to 19 points entering the fourth quarter. CH scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by Allen.
The Tigers' standout player in the win was Allen. He ran for two touchdowns.
Coming into the game Chapel Hill had allowed 19.4 points per game this year. CH held firm on the defensive front, and kept the Warriors well below the 12.9 points it had been averaging per game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 31-14 win for the Tigers.
Chapel Hill (7-2) will play a 3A Carolina game against Southern Vance next week, while Webb (2-7) will take on Northern Vance also in a 3A Carolina game.
